Rona is hard working 14.3h stout well bred mare that is gentle but cautious and has great bone and feet. This handy, smooth riding mare is a solid prospect for the rodeo arena, jackpots, trail riding, back country or working ranch.

She has been started in many aspects of ranch work from doctoring, team branding, trailing, sorting, and heading and heeling calves. She has the makings to be a great breakaway or heel horse as well as barrels and poles.

Rona is currently being hauled to local jackpots for expeditions in barrels and poles. She is easy to catch, clip, bathe, hauls well, rides out by herself, and stands great for the farrier.

Rona is best suited for a confident intermediate rider when ridden regularly for trails and arena work but a knowledgeable rider to finish her out in roping and ranching duties.

We bought her as an unstarted two-year-old and really enjoy riding this fun, athletic mare whether it’s a nice trail ride or out to get work done.
